Pipum are small and fluffy creatures with dense fur only suitable for dust bathing. They like to perch on big rocks and tall hills for a better vantage point and to spot predators. Living in big groups of as many as 30 or more, they are social and highly dependent on one another. Known to be observant and extremely curious, sometimes it feels like you're being judged by a group of them from afar, and they can sometimes be spotted mimicking movements of their target of interest. Don't let them near paper, they might chew it to bits for their own entertainment.UTILITY / INFO:
Pipum are a well-known companion and are most recognised in the Evo’si territory. They can be trained and taught to do intricate tricks. Pipum are the best kind of emotional support animal if the Ichgor enjoys physical contact, as they are known to rest their bodies close to the owner as a sign of trust and affection. Outside of domestication, they can be found tunneling in hill formations and playing among massive fields of Pipum Stools.

The Kätzchen are delightful creatures known for their vibrant personalities and expressive facial features. Small and feathery, their dense feathers create a rounded, soft appearance. Highly valued by the Ichgor for both companionship and their pest-control abilities, these critters have become closely familiar with the Ichgor over time. Having coexisted with them since before the fall of the old ones, Kätzchen are friendly and tolerant of the Ichgor. They possess intelligence and adaptability, thriving in various environments shaped by the presence of different Ichgor subspecies, although they no longer survive in the wild independently.UTILITY / INFO:
The Kätzchen are an ideal companion to the Ichgor as they’ve coexisted longer than one could remember. They come in many natural colours and patterns with three very noticeable physical shapes and feather densities. While all of them can exist in any territory, biome and anywhere the Ichgor resides, it is common to see the short hair in Evo’si, medium hair in Azvirahn and long hair in Valhakrys territory.[Design Notes: Kätzchen must follow real-life Earth cats' natural coat patterns, colors, and eye colors.]

Tegual, the long-legged reptile that is extremely fast, sometimes too fast for their own good. They skitter and scatter all across the hot deserts and sand dunes, their only saving grace to avoid burning their feet. Using their long legs, they flee when they feel threatened. However, approach them slowly with their favourite treats and they’ll greet you with a head bobble! The Tegual may look a little absent minded and silly, but look away and your bags will be scattered across the floor and their contents thrown about.UTILITY / INFO:
Tegual are known to be the 'odd dogs' of the domestic category. They are known to be great companions that are friendly around children and can be good as a first time pet owner. They are cheeky and hyperactive, which can be fun for active individuals that needs a run in their life.

X’ohgull are fast, agile and sometimes a little scary. They are equipped with incredible speed but are stymied by a short stamina that just allows them to jump from one cliff to another. They are mischievous creatures who like to taunt you by shaking their tail and wiggling their fingers before taking off into the rocky cliffs. With claws that can kill larger prey, they aren't afraid to use them on anything that either presents as a danger... or their next meal. X'ohgull are usually seen in packs of 5 and stay in high altitude regions to avoid being hunted.UTILITY / INFO:
X’ohgull are known to be hunted as game and for their furry pelts. Ichgor gather in parties and hunt these mischievous creatures every year during hunting season. They’re considered the poor man's meat in the regions they're found in, as their meat is tough and hard to eat. They're not just used for protein though, as their claws can be used as temporary blades and farmers' tools, while their furry pelt are known to be used as clothing.

A natural predator of ichgor themselves, Voshnu's are massive carnivores known to roam the edges of oceans and rivers where temperature reach the negatives. They scout for prey all year round and drag them to their prides hidden within massive caves in the ice. Heavy, they are very well known for their stomping and huffying, a common way of communicating between them. While they are not likely to attack ichgor right away, any sign of invasion of their territory will guarantee a chase.UTILITY / INFO:
Voshnu are highly dangerous and known to be kept to their own devices. Ichgor do not hunt nor chase them from their natural habitates due to them being crucial for the wellbeing of their enviroment. Though, campers will always pick up ther fesces to light up fires whenever necessary, finding them very flammable and a great assist for those days the wood itself is covered in snow and ice. If an ichgor may find a carcass of one, they may take their pelts and horns to do traditional attires. Due to their rarity and origin, the material must be taken to a monastery to sanctify before turning it into aything of daily use. An ichgor may be able to get a pelt of a Voshnu once in their lifetime and often are cremated with it if they hail from the Valhakyrs regions.

Known as loyal friends to all ichgor kind, Zhimarróns are companion that can be found all over the territory with a wide variety of earthy coats and patterns. What greatly distinguishes them is their green outer lips and thick teeth used to crack food open with ease. One would assume these small friends would bark and snarl, but instead they communicate with a variety of whistles and huffs produced through the hole in their cheeks. Once they bond with an ichgor or group, they will always stay around to guard them.UTILITY / INFO:
Keeping them as companions is often the most common use for these friends, aside from that, they may be used to help hunt wild animals or dig out plants and mushrooms in territories where some invasive species may be doing a mark. Sadly, over the years, they have been used as alarms towards the current plague taking over the world. They are trained to sniff out rot and often scout out for infected areas. If they never come back, it is an indication the region is infected.[Design Notes: Zhimarróns must follow real-life Earth dogs' natural coat patterns, their eyes, lips and nails always stay the same color, though.]

Aolli are small mud dwellers that writhe through the sludge and muck around the water's surface. Although Aolli are known to be skittish and easy to scare, they might try to scare a predator back by spitting bubbles of water out like a water gun, though it's more cute than scary.UTILITY / INFO:They are great as personal pets, with most Ichgor choosing to have a small hoard of 3 per pond. They require mud as their pond base and a lot of water weeds for them to feed and hide into. While they are not known as a food source, territories like the Azvirahn use their ground up bones as medicine for better blood circulation and curing fatigue.

Out for blood, Achthu are vicious and territorial. Often spotted in the depths of murkier water, they'll leap out of water and onto land if it meant getting a bite of their prey. Their sharp nose is perfect for spearing food as they lunge themselves forward at high speeds. Be aware of them at all times! If an Ichgor stays out of their reach, they are likely to spit at them to mark them with their scent, leaving them smelling heavily of fish for the rest of the day.UTILITY / INFO:
Ichgor love fishing and hunting the Achthu, despite the difficulties they had to endure to obtain one. Their meat is sweet and juicy and is good to use in many different dishes, like stews. Those without any expertise in hunting them may struggle or potentially be harmed by the Achthu's aggressive nature, so it's recommended to hunt them with a seasoned veteran.

Known as gentle giants, Imosonne photosynthesize sunlight using their fins rather than hunting for food. They are often found just under the surface offshore, swimming in large pods which usually consist of around 5-30 members. The Imosonne are extremely emotional creatures and have been documented to mourn for any species.UTILITY / INFO:
Unfortunately, these friendly giants are actively hunted by Ichgor, as their fins and blubber are extremely valuable. Imosonne fins are often used to make a large range of different household remedies and medicine, as they contain multiple different proteins and nutrients that Ichgor need. Their blubber is also used by Imosonne hunters as oil for both cooking and shining their feathers.

Ryaboa are large and intelligent creatures that live in small pods of up to 5 members. They aren't inherently violent, however they will not hesitate to pull an Ichgor apart if they approach their young. However, Ryaboa typically attract prey by waving the lumpy frill of their neck to imitate coral hiding places. Their frills are also used to attract mates by wiggling and flaring them to show off their size and color. The bigger and more colorful they are, the more likely they are to attract a mate.UTILITY / INFO:
Ichgor often avoid boating near Ryoboa pods as they often have younglings swimming close by, with groups of Ichgor dedicated to mapping Ryoboa movement to ensure safe travel. This is because Ichgor are highly aware of the Ryaboa’s overprotective nature, so they prefer not to risk have their boats titled over and their bodies bitten and trashed about.

They may look big, armoured and scary but the Elytian are actually quite docile. They usually mind their own business and tunnel into the dead tree bark, feeding off Brightberry. If they feel threatened, they'd consider using their large pincers to take a limb with them. However, they’re fairly territorial towards their own kind and are known to be solitary creatures that love their own space. Their facial pinchers are used as a dominance display, battling for territory and self-protection.UTILITY / INFO:
Elytian are one of the Evo’si favourite creatures to hunt for food. Although unassuming, the Elytian's meat is filled with high protein and can easily be made into a flavourful jerky. Their exoskeleton also holds a large amount of calcium, so Ichgor usually grind them into a fine powder to mix into drinks and food.

Felkhen are a unique species of birds known for their adaptability to various climates, allowing them to thrive in almost any part of the world. These highly sociable creatures often gather in large flocks and prefer to live together. Instead of building nests, Felkhens seek out hollowed-out trees or stable cliffs for shelter. In the wild, they depend heavily on their kin for assistance with hunting and caring for their young. They take turns leaving their home to hunt and incubate their eggs.UTILITY / INFO:
Felkhen are birds of prey that can be found all over the Ichgor world. These four-legged avians are known to be the main reason most cities stay free from pests, as their main diet consists of rodents and any small mammal that is small enough for their claws. Over the years, many cowboys from more low populated areas have taken up upon themselves to train them to assist in hunting small animals, as their four eyes have great vision and allow for quick strikes towards any game that is running away. They are social with each other but yet competitive. People who raise Felkhen know better than to ignore the very elaborate and diverse personalities they have. A flock of them is known as a "brigade" of Felkhen.

A very common sight all across the ichgor world, Hylain are big birds that often scout the edges of bodies of water for food and shelter. They are not prone to aggressive behaviour and really enjoy interacting with local fauna. In dry seasons, they migrate thousands of kilometres in search of more humid areas, flying in massive flocks that are composed of many generations that have traveled every year in search of better food and shelter.
Mating season for these birds is a great display of their vocal qualities. Lakes and rivers become a concert of different young Hylain wishing to attract their life-long partners.UTILITY / INFO:
Ichgor have long domesticated Hylain in search of messenger birds that are able to outfly the strong wings present all over the world. They are sturdy to harsh climates and rely on very little feed to keep going. While a Hylain is often a familial bird instead of a personal one, it is not rare for travelers to have them as companions due to their very simple upkeep.

Karakoa are always associated with the grim and morbid, these birds' natural diet is decomposing flesh and they rely heavily of the scavenging of densely packed ecosystems. Known for their very distinctive stench of rot, which they carry on themselves at all times, and the spikes on their body that cause of many infections among anything that may be pierced by them. These birds carry an extensive range of bacteria on them and hover above any animal that may be prone to die soon.UTILITY / INFO:
Even though karakoa are domesticated, they are still very dangerous birds to be around. They cannot live in the same accommodations as their owners and must be handled with gloves at all times. Most ichgor that domesticate these birds live far away from the city and handle rot in some way or another. They are great at spotting dead animals and are a common sight among plaguehunters due to their high chance of survival against the plague.

Pirinu rather quick for their small size, grouping in a flocks for both heat and safe travel. They're often spotted in icy forests dotted around the high mountain ranges, often taking up multiple trees at a time to house the entire colony. Every morning, nearby Ichgor can wake up to the Pirinu's morning song and fluttering wings as they move through the colony and great each other in a social ritual. Eventually can be spotted sunbathing in the afternoon to recharge! If an Ichgor offers them a berry, they might just gift you with their very own treasure (fancy small sticks).Pirinu are also known as a "Great Pip"UTILITY / INFO:
Pirinu are known to be graceful ghosts that fly between the rare forest biomes, easily missed against the cloudy sky. They are rarely spotted near civilization, but areas where they're spotted are said to be places bestowed with peace and great blessings.

Creatures that are categorized as mounts are, obviously, suitable for riding and can assist in travelling and transportation. Whether it be traversing harsh terrains, covering long distances, or carrying heavy loads, each species in this category possesses unique skills and specialties that are then trained for its designated task.

Imphars originally came from the deserts and wide plains of the world and are most commonly seen in the Evo'si territory. They were domesticated to make travel within residential areas and the vast wilderness more efficient. In the wild, they travel in herds typically consisting of a dozen individuals. They are known to be aggressive and protective of their grazing territory, stomping away any creatures that may pose a threat.UTILITY / INFO:
Imphars are fast and reliable creatures that can help you get to any destination quickly due to their strong legs and high running speed, making short distances an easy task. An elegant species with a short temper, they prefer to only be friendly around their owners or fellow herd members. Despite their remarkable natural skills and gorgeous feathers, they can be quite dim-witted and extremely food-motivated. They would follow their favourite treat into all sorts of places, no matter how risky it may be.

Terrarahs are commonly found in colder regions of the world and often travel in large herds of 40-60 individuals in the wild. They have a habit of migrating from one place to another in search of new grazing locations and shelter after a few months, or when food supplies are depleted. Terrarahs are usually unbothered and calm, which makes them good candidates to form symbiotic bonds with small creatures, such as Pirinu. However, when provoked or panicked, they can cause a stampede as they flee from potential danger.UTILITY / INFO:
Terrarahs are large beasts with a slower moving speed, making them well-suited to heavy loads during transportation. They are great for long rides and can walk at least a full day before needing rest. They are known for being resilient, even in harsh weather, with coats and bodies that can withstand extreme temperature. Despite their size, which can be intimidating at times, they are known to be quite gentle and sweet, earning the nickname of 'gentle giant.'

Zyromyr are effective rainforest predators, swift and agile on their feet and in the air. They are adept at jumping and climbing along slippery and slimy surfaces with their long claws and strong front legs. Zyromyr typically travel in pairs with their mate, caring for their cubs until they are ready to live independent lives. Their diet consists of fish and smaller creatures, but their sweet tooth often leads them to forage for sweet berries and honey. Zyromyr are renowned for their skills in guarding and seeking, making them excellent for traversing the dense forest and reaching destinations quickly. Their keen sense of smell is enhanced by their habit of flicking out their tongues, which further aids their tracking abilities. They are complex creatures, with the probability of being stubborn or moody when things don't go their way. Regardless of their occasional tantrums, they can be loyal and offer long-lasting companionship who will remain by their owner's side.

Blessed creatures are often creatures redeemed to be blessed by a gift of the elements from the Enlightened. They are species that have only started appearing in recent times, when Ichgor began their first Celestial Eil coronation. They are limited to the wild and do not seem to originate or evolve naturally like the rest of the geographical species. However, their existence fits seamlessly into the ecology of the world and they do not seem to cause harm to the native species compared to the usual invasive species.

Orijavas are lively winged creatures that usually travel in massive flocks, effortlessly gliding through the skies above and around one of the sacred wyvern, Ummi'rori. While they are exploring the vast expanses of nature, they serve as Ummi'rori's watchful guardians outside her sanctum. They possess a curious nature, sticking their beaks in many observable situations and judging others from afar while having their little discussion and “tea time” about it. Despite their fiery origins, which has garnered them a reputation as a bad omen in the Valhakrys territory in particular, Orijavas seldom set things on fire unless necessary or when escaping potential threats.

Despite their small size, Shurjin are believed to possess hearts and souls that are much larger than their physical form. These creatures are filled with empathy and love, and they are known to sing in a way that resembles the sound of the SOMPOTON instrument. Born without eyes, they rely on their voices as a means of navigating their surroundings. Their language is deep and complex, characterised by a wide range of vocal tones. Often, Shurjin go unnoticed by the Ichgor; only those who pay attention to the song of the world can perceive them. They are most commonly recognised by Ichgor who have transcended grief and achieved positive acceptance. Those who bond with a Shurjin often gain the ability to learn a small amount of their language and communicate with them.

Georamus is a molten-based wyvern species known for its ability to heat the bladed parts of its body to staggering temperatures of up to 1200°C. While they might seem like fierce weapons, most Georamus are skilled artists and architects of nature. They use their blades to carve out mountains and create large caverns high in the sky. To keep their blades sharp and strong, they sharpened them on natural formations like chalk and limestone. Although some prefer regions with high geological activity, many Georamus thrive near large bodies of freshwater, typically living in small groups of 2 to 5 within their territory. Despite their carnivorous diet, they are not selfish; they often share their meals with creatures in need, finding fulfilment in the idea that their existence can uplift others.On days when they aren’t busy decorating the mountains, Georamus are known to lounge in the water, swimming for hours. Letting smaller creatures climb aboard, serving as makeshift boats or resting spots. However, their friendliness should not be mistaken for weakness; they can quickly turn hostile and defensive if threatened or when they catch sight of an Ichgor.
BEFORE THE FALL OF THE OLD ONES:
The Georamus is a species of wyvern that existed long before the fall of the Old Ones. Originally, they shared a unique and loyal bond with the Ichgor for hundreds of years and were known as the Helpers of the Forge, assisting in the construction of the Old Ones' cities and structures. However, following the betrayal of the gods by the Old Ones, which accidentally opened Pandora's box (The Xellarous), the Georamus developed a deep-seated hatred for the Ichgor species, leading to a generational grudge.When the Xellarous plague swept through the Old Ones’ civilisation, it caused immense devastation not only to the Ichgor but also to any species that came into contact with it, further poisoning the planet. Determined to combat the plague that threatened to annihilate all life, the Georamus made the desperate decision to sacrifice themselves. They deliberately crashed into towering buildings and structures that were once the symbol of Ichgor’s and the Georamus’s collaboration, bringing them crashing down onto the ruined and corrupted cities ravaged by the plague.Even now, thousands of years after the fall, many Georamus can still be seen flying above the ruins of the Old Ones. They carry a long-lasting trauma and anxiety, fearing that more of those heinous corrupts may emerge from beneath the rubble. Despite this fear, they continue to kill and burn any corrupts they encounter, even if it means harming their kin. Sadly, this has led to a decline in their population, pushing their species toward endangerment.Although the Ichgor may no longer remember much of the pain their ancestors caused, the history of this is still told in the wyvern tongues. The memory may be distant, but the Georamus are one of the few species that have refused to let go of the past. It was not a grudge out of malice, but a trauma the species still endured even after the fall and rise of the new generation of Ichgor.
DISSAGREEMENT BETWEEN UMMI'RORI:
Ummi’rori, known as The Hearth, is one of the Enlightened Wyverns associated with the molten element. Recently, a few Enlightened Wyverns, including Ummi’rori, have chosen to extend their assistance to the Ichgor species in their battle against the growing Xellarous corruption. This decision has created challenges for the Georamus species, which has struggled to accept the idea of collaborating with the Ichgor. Many Georamus individuals remain stubbornly tied to their generational grief and continue to fear potential betrayal from the Ichgor. While they will not go against The Hearth and still greatly respect her, many still hold their decision to keep their distance from Ichgor and advance on their fighting against the Xellarous by themselves.

The Bentabous grow in large clusters high up within the trees, only visible by their pink blooms contrasting starkly against the green background. These plants are known as ‘naked ladies’, plants that lay dormant until their desired conditions are met, then suddenly create an abundance of leafless stalks covered in pink blooms. This flower is representative of new life, blooming like an infestation during spring and mid-summer. Due to this, Bentabous are an ideal gift for expecting families or the youngling's first safe year. Thankfully, this non-toxic plant has a sweet scent and smell akin to honey, so if a curious mouth ends up consuming it, they will not have any adverse effects.UTILITY / INFO:

Carrying a unique beauty, Färran “blossoms” or “blooms” are located near the tops of mountains, primarily on the rocky sides. The seeds that hang at the ends of the stamens shine and glimmer like gemstones with the flora’s petals holding a dimmer contrast. When the seeds drop, that shine camouflages them in the glare of the snow. The Färran are one of the few known “non lethal” beauties within the Metal Devil territory, representing hope. Due to the nature of these flowers, they're often cultivated on farms for higher chances of stock and production during the off-season. Even though they're primarily farm-made, Ichgor can also find these "syrup flowers" in nature. Unlike most plants, they do not produce seeds that are accessible or visible. Instead, the syrup acts like an agent that protects the flower and also helps with reproduction by spreading from flower to flower.
